The offices of Justice of the Peace Pct. 3 Bill Gravell Jr. and Justice of the Peace Pct. 4 Judy Schier Hobbs will be closed for training Monday, May 2, through Wednesday May 4, 2016. The offices will resume normal operations on Thursday, May 5, 2016.

Williamson County, together with the City of Cedar Park and Waste Management, is hosting a FREE household hazardous waste collection event on Saturday, April 30, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at in LISD's Gupton Stadium Parking Lot, corner of Gupton Way and E Park Street. Williamson County is amending the Long-Range Transportation Plan. The US Census Bureau recently announced that Williamson County is the sixth fastest growing county in the United States. Progressive planning is required in order to keep pace with this tremendous growth. 

The County will be holding four public meetings to gather input on the changes from April 18 to 28. The public is invited to make comments regarding the amendments from March 30 to April 29, 2016, at 5 p.m. For more information, click here.

A portion of the Brushy Creek Regional Trail will be closed from April 2016 through the fall of 2017. The trail will be closed on Upper Brushy Creek Dam No. 7 from Brushy Creek Lake Park to Champion Park for improvements and construction of the Dam 7 Modernization Project. An alternate trail route is currently available along Brushy Creek Road that connects Brushy Creek Lake Park with Champion Park. Both parks will remain open during construction with facilities and rentals available to the public.
